Ramsgate is the biggest single town on Thanet by population and the widest electrical mix. Regency West Cliff terraces (some Grade II listed) run along the seafront from the Royal Harbour up to Wellington Crescent; the housing stock is 1820s-1830s, deep cellars, original service risers, and any electrical work needs listed-building consent from Thanet District Council if it affects front-facing elements or historic fabric.
The Royal Harbour zone itself is a conservation area with the tightest planning conditions in the CT11 postcode.
